In order to guarantee you top quality in any situation, the new Peugeot Boxer has been subjected to a multitude of tests under severe conditions:
- 4,000,000 km of rolling on all types of terrain, including rough roads, to test the engine and ensure its optimum reliability.
- 500,000 shutter break cycles 1,500 hours in a climatic chamber.
- Salt water corrosion test.
THIS BOXER MEANS BUSINESS. Being a Peugeot, the Boxer is capable of pulling weight. The pseudo McPherson-type wishbone front suspension, with anti-roll bar, offers real stability, excellent road-holding and exceptional driveability. What’s more, the rigid tube rear suspension means it’s possible to offset the wheel axis, enabling the rear sill to be lowered for easier loading, while the longitudinal single-blade mechanical suspension offers a quieter, more comfortable ride.
The Common Rail injection system is featured on every Boxer HDi engine for cleaner, more efficient motoring. By injecting fuel at high pressure directly into the combustion chamber, this system reduces fuel consumption and emissions while providing extra power.
The Boxer offers a wide range of active safety features including ABS with EBD, ESP with Load Adaptive Control, Power Steering, Hill Assist and Driver Airbag, enabling you to react as effectively as possible in even the most difficult of situations.*
